You can generally expect approximately 150 to 200 lbs. of packaged meat. Depending on Size and Cuts
A rule of thumb is to expect:
20-25% “Steaks”
Rib Steaks (Ribeye), New York Strip Steaks, Filets (Filet Mignon), Sirloin Steaks or Sirloin Tip Steaks, Flank Steak and Brisket,
T-Bone
25-30% “Roast, Ribs and Stew Meat”
Arm Roast, Chuck Roast, Rump Roast
40-50% “Ground Beef”

Freezer space is approximately 1 Cubic foot of space per 35lbs of packaged meat.
(Medium chest or Upright freezer is needed)
